our second visit to alajar was even better than the first. casona del duende exceeded our expectations with their warm hospitality, stunning garden, and delicious homemade breakfast. the peaceful atmosphere and friendly hosts truly made our stay unforgettable. we can't wait to return.

We had a great weekend at this hotel! the rooms were fancy and elegant, and the lobby was beautifully decorated. the garden was charming, with colorful plants and a big swimming pool. the owners were really nice and friendly, and their cute dog and lovely daughter added to the warm atmosphere. Plus, the hotel was in a key location for exploring the natural park nearby.

There were a couple of downsides. the lack of air conditioning or even a fan in the bedroom made it difficult to sleep comfortably, especially on warmer nights.

I had a great experience staying at Casona Del Duende Guest House. It felt more like being a guest in a friend's private house than staying in a traditional hotel. the house surprised me in a positive way with its quiet and feminine interior. the cleanliness was impressive, and I loved the attractive garden with a swimming pool. the breakfast buffet offered a variety of options. the host went out of their way to guide us to the only restaurant in the small village, and the staff, who spoke fair English, were very helpful. The beautiful surroundings are perfect for nature lovers and hikers. Cons: Can't think of anything! 😊.
